この度、Arizona州Phoenixにある日本庭園
Ro Ho En Japanese Friendship Garden のディレクター Ben Schrepfさんにお声がけいただき、庭園が次の大きなステージへ進むために支えてくださる方々が集うガーラに陶芸家としてご招待いただきました
この大きな節目の一部に関わらせていただけることを心より感謝しています
現地では飛鉋の実演を行います
日本の伝統工芸が
遠く離れた場所でも
誰かの心に静かに響くよう
しっかり届けてきたいと思います
While the excitement from our recent exhibition is still lingering,
we are now preparing for our upcoming event in the United States.
Together with many cups,
we will soon cross the ocean.
We are deeply honored to be invited as ceramic artists to a gala hosted by supporters of
Ro Ho En Japanese Friendship Garden in Phoenix, Arizona.
At the kind invitation of the director,
Ben
we will take part in this special gathering that supports the garden’s next stage of growth.
It is a great honor to be part of this important step.
During the event,
we will also demonstrate the traditional Japanese technique Tobikanna.
We hope the spirit of Japanese traditional craftsmanship
will resonate quietly with people
even far across the ocean.
