そしてこのたび2点とも新しい場所へお嫁入り。
「新しい場所でも可愛がってもらってね。。😭💕」
そんな、我が子を嫁に出すような気持ちでひとつひとつ梱包しました。
8月はお客様も少なく、
いつもよりのんびりとした時間が流れる工房。
そんな中でもふらりと立ち寄ってくださった方との嬉しい出会いが時々あります😊
ものを作って誰かのもとへ送り出す
その先にあるご縁まで含めて、
やっぱりこの仕事っていいなぁと思う今日この頃です
A lovely international visitor happened to stop by our studio and instantly fell in love with two pieces from our Jomon series: the “Childbirth Motif Vessel” and the “Spouted Vessel.” 😳
And now, both pieces have found a new home. 💕
As I carefully wrapped them one by one, I couldn’t help but think:
“I hope you’ll be loved and cherished in your new home… 😭💕”
It truly felt like sending my own children off to be married.
August is usually a quiet month at our studio, with fewer visitors and a slower, more peaceful rhythm than usual.
But even during these quiet days, we sometimes have these wonderful encounters with people who simply happen to wander in. And those unexpected connections make me so happy. 😊
We create each piece by hand and then send it off to become part of someone else’s life.
Thinking about the connections that continue beyond our studio, I find myself once again thinking,
“I really do love what I do.” 🤍
