On October 25, our special event,
Soryugama × Kotaro Noda – “Opening Up the World of Ceramics” –
came to a wonderful close.
The night before, I was filled with excitement and nervousness, just like a child before a school trip! I couldn’t sleep and ended up preparing from 2 a.m.! 😂
After a year of creative collaboration with Chef Noda, we finally brought our ceramics and dishes to life, offering our guests a truly unique experience.
Watching people who had never met before share food, laughter, and conversation around the same table, I almost burst into tears thinking, “I’m so glad we did this…” 🥲
The next day, I was completely exhausted! 😂 But the heartfelt messages from our guests gave me so much confidence and brought me to tears all over again. 😭
I first met Chef Noda in Rome ten years ago, and I’ve admired him ever since. Being able to collaborate after all these years was truly special.
Above all, it was so much fun! Every moment of preparation and the event itself has become a precious memory.
I still have so many emotions I can’t quite put into words.
I’ll share more about the ceramics and dishes in another post, but for now…
To Chef Noda, our wonderful guests, and everyone who supported us,
Thank you so, so much from the bottom of our hearts!! ❤️
