この壮大な景色を訪れる機会をいただきました。
イベントでご一緒したお琴の先生西尾 裕美子さんがお茶の先生でもあり、「この地で野点をしたい」という想いから生まれた今回のご縁。
そのひとときのために、茶器を制作させていただきました。
大地のスケールを感じるこの場所でいただく一服は、まさに格別。
言葉にできないほど特別な時間に…。

Outdoor Tea Ceremony in Sedona & the Grand Canyon
I usually return to Japan right after finishing work,
but this time, thanks to Reiko, who knows Arizona so well,
we had the chance to visit these breathtaking landscapes.
The koto performer I met at the event is also a tea master,
and this special moment came from her wish
to hold an outdoor tea ceremony in this remarkable place.
I had the honor of creating tea ware for this occasion.
Enjoying a bowl of tea surrounded by such vast nature
was truly exceptional—
an indescribably special experience.
I am deeply grateful that our Suiryo Kiln pieces
were used in such an extraordinary setting.
