久しぶりに並べた三島の器たち
いまは磁器の制作が中心の毎日ですが
土ものには 土ものにしかない呼吸があります
先代から受け継がれてきたこのシリーズを前にすると
手の中に残る時間や 積み重ねてきた仕事の重みを
あらためて感じます
つくりたいものの気配は
浮かんではすぐに消えてしまうから
忘れてしまう前にそっと書き留めておこう
At a customer’s request
we laid out our Mishima series once again
for the first time in a while
These days, our work is mostly in porcelain
yet clay has a breath that only clay can hold
Standing before this series passed down from the previous generation
we quietly feel the time held in the hands
and the weight of work accumulated over years
Ideas appear
and vanish just as quickly
Before they fade
we gently set them down in words
