私たちのうつわは
ろくろから生まれるものがほとんどで
自然と「丸」が基本になります
こちらの輪花鉢も
ろくろでかたちをつくったあと
ほんの少しだけ手を添えて
やわらかな揺らぎを加えました
料理を盛ってはじめて
曲線は際立ち
うつわは静かに完成します
Our pottery is predominantly born from the potter’s wheel,
naturally taking the circle as its fundamental form.
This “Rinka Bowl” (flower-shaped bowl) too,
after being shaped on the wheel,
was given a soft, undulating touch with just a gentle hand.
Only when food is served upon it,
do its subtle curves truly stand out,
and the vessel quietly comes to completion.
