今回のフランス渡航で
どうしても叶えたかったことのひとつ🇫🇷
蘇嶐窯が長年コラボレーションをさせていただいている、パリ在住の造形作家・アーティスト、オレリー・マティゴさんのアトリエを訪ねることができました。
一歩足を踏み入れると
どこを見ても心が躍るものばかり
作品や素材、集められたものたち、そのすべてがオレリーらしさに包まれていて、まるで彼女の世界観の宝箱の中に迷い込んだような感覚でした。
「ここからたくさんのアイデアや作品が生まれているんだなぁ…」
そんなことを思いながら、創作の源に触れられた時間は本当に特別でした。
いつか訪れてみたいと願っていたオレリーのアトリエ。
その夢が叶い、とても幸せな一日になりました😭💕

One of the things I truly hoped to accomplish during this trip to France🇫🇷
I finally had the chance to visit the atelier of Aurélie Mathigot, a Paris-based sculptural artist with whom Soryugama has had the pleasure of collaborating for many years.
The moment I stepped inside, I was surrounded by things that sparked my imagination.
Every artwork, every material, and every carefully collected object reflected Aurélie’s unique world. It felt as though I had wandered into a treasure chest filled with her creativity.
I couldn’t help but think,
“This is where so many wonderful ideas and beautiful works are born.”
Being able to experience the source of her inspiration was truly unforgettable.
Visiting Aurélie’s atelier had been a dream of mine for a long time, and I was so happy to finally make it come true. 😭💕
I am deeply grateful for the connections that making things by hand can create—connections that transcend countries, cultures, and languages.
